Signs

During the summer I was involved in the making of the short film, 'Signs', which was funded by the Irish Film Boards', Virtual Cinema Scheme. The Film was written/directed/produced by Vincent Gallagher. Grace Chan and myself created the animation and had some great help by the amazing Rory Wolahan. Director of photography Stevie Russell, music Andy Walsh and sound design George Brennan.
The Film was screened during the Dark Light Festival at The Social bar on the 29th oct, and is now available to watch by clicking on the poster.
Hope you enjoy.

Gosger's Bad Trip

Gosger's Bad Trip from Billy Shing on Vimeo.

This was a short piece i did for a stage play which was written and produced by Karl Argue and directed by Shane Gately. Gosger (played by Chris Gallagher), one of the characters, has a bad trip, the animation then starts. At the end of the clip Gosger scream's and jumps at the screen which is when the real gosger (Chris) jumps out on stage

Gong Xi Fa Cai

After an unsuccessful hunt around Dublin for cards to send to my family in Hong Kong and England, I had to create my own. The only thing is, I'm not sure if the Chinese Characters make any sense what so every. Originally I was going to modify my film poster but it evolved into this.

Red Panda

Here's Some quick scetches of Red Panda's in Dublin Zoo. As a class we're brought there at least once a year. With this visit, we were asked to focus more on the wait and balance of the animals.
